HILD, led by Lars Broddesson (formerly of Marduk and Funeral Mist session, among other notable projects), brings forth a compelling theme of battle and struggle, centered around the Valkyries in Norse mythology.
Their music channels raw and straightforward energy that leaves no prisoners and wastes no time. Operating under the slogan "Violent Swedish Metal," HILD delivers a potent blend of thrash metal infused with elements of black and death metal, along with hints of crust punk and hardcore. It doesn't get more intense than this.

The Slayeress is our second recording. In much, it is an outlet of power and self-realisation. To find purpose in the struggles of existence and to face up to your fateful battles with a pure fearless heart, knowing that whether you survive or not you are doing something true and meaningful. You are doing what you are meant to do, in the hands of the ancient forces that guide you. And in the cycle of life and death, through ageless wars and strife, we live, laugh and love. We die, weep and hate. Over and over again. Death is the play, war the playground. Life, a brief reward to enjoy. Where we protect the beauty around us.
